RNC is investigating following a home invasion in the capital city last night.

Police were called to a house in the west end of St. John’s at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Suspects entered the home and left the area before police arrived on scene.

The matter is under investigation by the RNC’s Criminal Investigation Division.

Man Injured in Alleged Mugging

Meanwhile, police are also investigating an alleged mugging in the downtown overnight.

At 2:15 a.m. police responded to a report of unknown trouble in downtown St. John’s.

Police located a man who said he had been robbed and assaulted. The victim was taken to hospital and treated for injuries.
