Due to the current fire hazard rating in the City of Corner Brook, a fire ban has come into effect as of this morning. The following are prohibited until further notice:

• Outdoor fire pits, including approved pits with spark arrestors
• Chimineas
• Fumos Ovens
• Charcoal Briquette BBQs
• Outdoor fireplaces
• Open fire permits

However, propane and natural gas fire pits, indoor fireplaces, and BBQs are permitted.
