A west coast community has a new system in place to help make its beach more accessible.
The Town of Pasadena unveiled its new MobiMat and beach-ready wheelchairs, which can be rented out for 90 minutes free of charge.
The chairs can be used on a large mat surface that reaches down to the waterline, allowing for easier access to the sandy beach.
The town reminds those interested that time is needed between bookings to allow for proper sanitization.
