The St. John’s Regional Fire Department made quick work of a fire in the west end of St. John’s, Saturday night.

Crews we called to the structure fire shortly before 10 p.m.

The fire was contained to a detached garage and was quickly extinguished. However, damage to the building was extensive.

The fire remains under investigation.
