A local weather watcher and enthusiast has had the tools of his trade stolen from him and he is asking for the public’s help in finding them.
Kelly Butt says his weather station was stolen from his yard in the east end of St. John’s at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The equipment is worth about $2,000.
He says it is not only unfortunate because he does not have the money to replace it but because it provides valuable weather information for the east end of St. John’s.
Butt is asking anyone with information to reach out to him over Twitter, to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
