The RNC responded to a report of hit and run in the centre city early yesterday morning.
Police say at approximately 6:25 a.m. an ambulance was struck by a vehicle, which fled the scene.
A short time later, officers were able to locate the vehicle, and arrested and charged a 28-year-old woman with impaired driving, refusal, and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.
The woman was released to appear in court at a later date.
