Police have made an arrest in connection with break-ins at several businesses in St John’s this week.
RNC say the incidents occurred between Sunday and Tuesday.
Several businesses were affected, including Spiritleaf and Saltwater on Topsail Road, and a supplement shop- which had two locations broken into.
Police say each business suffered “significant” losses as result.

The subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of a 44-year-old St. John’s man yesterday. He has been charged with four counts of break and enter and has been held for a court appearance.
The property that was stolen from the businesses has been located and is in the process of being returned.

Chris Crosbie of Spiritleaf is grateful for the swift action.
They were notified late Wednesday afternoon that the stolen product had been retrieved. The product is now in quarantine in security storage and he says they’re going to go through it with the regulator for quality assurance purposes.
The RNC says the investigation into the matter is still active, and anyone with information is asked to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
