Public Health is currently evaluating the results of a trial program to lessen isolation requirements for rotational workers.
At yesterday’s COVID-19 briefing, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald noted that last week marked four weeks since a trial period began whereby rotational workers could get a COVID test five days after returning to the province, potentially lessening the time they would have to isolate while home.
A review of that program is underway and Dr. Fitzgerald says as Public Health evaluates the results of the trial, workers may still avail of the process.
