RNC have closed a portion of Craigmillar Avenue as they conduct an investigation into reports of shots fired at a house on the west end street early this morning.
Police were called around 6:00 this morning.
RNC says there is no indication of any injuries as a result—they also say that this was not a random attack.

Investigators are concentrating their efforts on a house that was at the centre of a previous murder investigation over the summer.
The Rovers Ground Search and Rescue arrived over the lunch hour with what appeared to be a metal detector.

47-year-old Jamie Cody of Paradise was found dead in the middle of Craigmillar in the early morning hours of July 6, 2020. He died of gunshot wounds. No arrests have yet been made in connection with that homicide.
RNC are asking the public for possible CCTV or dashcam footage from the area just before 6:00 this morning.
