The 2022 Newfoundland and Labrador Games are being postponed due to the pandemic.

The 2022 NL Winter Games and the 2020 Summer Games are both moving to 2024.

The week-long multi-sport events will be hosted in Bay Roberts in the summer, and Gander in the winter.

Both communities will also be hosting a number of competitions over the next couple of years for athletes that would have been the eligible age at the previously scheduled games.

Bay Roberts and Gander have each been given $40,000 from the provincial government to go towards these events.
