Holy Heart Regional High School went into “secure school” mode this morning after a person displayed a knife on their desk. The knife was recovered without incident and the person left the classroom and school.
The school went into secure mode as a precaution to limit any movement in and around the building. It was in effect from 9:20 am to 9:40 am at which time classes resumed. The RNC has been contacted.
Any parent of a child who was in the classroom can contact school administration should they wish to speak to someone about the incident.
