The Pride flag is flapping in the breeze at St. John’s City Hall today signalling the launch of two weeks of events by the LGBTQ+ community and culminating with the Pride Parade in downtown St. John’s.
Mayor Danny Breen says the capital city is a welcoming and diverse one.

“It’s also a city where people feel they belong. We see Pride Week, Pride Month and the raising of the flag as a big message from us that we are a city where people can prosper and enjoy their lives,” says Breen.
