A woman who owes a lot of money to the Crown has been nabbed by police for being behind the wheel despite court orders not to be so.
Placentia-Whitbourne RCMP, knowing that her license had been suspended, stopped the 41-year-old in New Harbour around 6:00 Thursday evening. She had no insurance or registration, and already owed $20,000 in fines.
The vehicle was seized and impounded.
