A man is facing a slew of charges following a violent home invasion in Bonavista last week.
Police received the call about a break-in at a home on Sebastian Drive last Thursday.
They say three people wearing masks were observed on video surveillance forcing their way inside the home, and assaulting the lone occupant. The three culprits fled on foot.

Notable damage was caused inside the home and some items were stolen. The victim was sent to hospital of treatment.
Forty-five-year-old Chris Delaney was arrested without incident at a home in the town on Friday.
He is facing 12 charges in total, including robbery, assault with a weapon, and breaking and entering.
The accused appeared in court on Monday.
An investigation into the identities of the other two suspects is ongoing.
