A Labrador Flag will now be present at all government news conferences in the media centre of Confederation Building.

Labrador Affairs Minister Lela Evans says after a recent news conference about the Medical Transportation Assistance Program, she received complaints about no Labrador flag being present in the background.

In the past, both the provincial and Canadian flags were there for all to see.

Evans says she spoke with the premier and he agreed to have the Labrador flag present as well.
