The provincial government has received over 4,400 reports through its online COVID reporting form since April.
A month-by-month breakdown of the numbers released by the Department of Health shows there has been a steady decline in the number of reports received each month.
In April, 2,026 reports were received. That number dropped to just over 700 in May and down into the 300s in June.
There was a slight bump in July as numbers increased to 525. That was the month Newfoundland and Labrador joined the Atlantic Bubble, allowing people who are symptom-free to travel freely within the Atlantic provinces.
The numbers have continued downward since then, dropping to just over 400 in August and slightly under 300 in September.
As of Wednesday, 137 reports have been received so far this month.
