A Brigus man is scheduled to appear in court later this month on charges related to a shocking alleged incident at a retirement home in Bay Roberts.
44-year-old Christopher Power, a personal care attendant, allegedly sexually assaulted a resident at the Bay Roberts Retirement Centre.
Police received the complaint back in August and launched an investigation.
The accused was arrested at the home on August 16th, but charges weren’t formally laid until last week.
Power is facing a charge of sexual assault, two counts of uttering forged documents, three counts of falsifying documents, and one count of using the title of Licensed Practical Nurse when not qualified to do so.
He’s scheduled to appear in Harbour Grace provincial court November 18th.

RCMP accuse Power of using forged and falsified documents at the retirement home, presenting himself as a qualified licensed practical nurse.
