The MHA for Topsail-Paradise says his office is being inundated by rotational workers with suggestions on ways to allow them to better interact with their families when home.

Paul Dinn says all want to abide by public health measures, but most are requesting point of entry testing followed by repeat testing at regular intervals to allow them more time to spend with their loved ones rather than having to self-isolate for extended periods.

Dinn indicates they’re also anxious, as the Christmas season approaches, about the availability of COVID testing during the holiday.

He says they want to know if testing will be available on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day if their schedule happens to hit on those days.
