Police in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are seeking help from the public after about 20 rifles were stolen from a cabin in the area.
The RCMP say the break-in happened at a cabin on Mud Lake Road sometime between Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
In addition to the rifles, police say a small antique hatchet was also taken.

The stolen firearms include:
- Two Ruger semi-automatic rifles (one is a 30 calibre, known as a mini 30)
- A Lee Enfield 303 rifle
- Two model 94 Savage 300 rifles (one in very poor condition)
- Multiple Cooey single shot 22-calibre rifles
- A CIL 22-calibre rifle (no bolt or trigger)
- A single shot 12-gauge shot gun
- A lever action 22 Magnum rifle
- A bb gun (with a broken stock)
- A Winchester model 94 7-30 rifle (lever action, 24″ barrel)
- A Winchester model 94 special 30-30 rifle (16″ barrel with a saddle ring) – reportedly a fairly rare firearm.
