The Newfoundland Rogues have wrapped up their regular season and will now look to make it deep into the postseason.
The Rogues swept the Lebanon Leprechauns at Mary Browns Centre to finish with a 23-17 record.
The team moves on to Raleigh, North Carolina to compete in a must win play-in game that will determine playoff eligibility.
The team would have to go deep into the playoffs in order to play any games on home court, but speaking with VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly, head coach Jerry Williams is optimistic.
He says their goal is to win the region and make it far enough to bring playoff basketball to St. John’s.
This is the Rogues’ first and last season under The Basketball League. The organization will be under the Basketball Super League in 2024.
