People are being encouraged to wear red tomorrow to show support for people with disabilities and their families.
Samantha Parrell, Fund Development and Communications Manager with Easter Seals in Newfoundland and Labrador, says Red Shirt Day is not only about showing support, but also creating a more inclusive and accessible community and celebrating successes.
She says it brings awareness to not only about the organization but every organization across Canada that supports people with disabilities.
Tomorrow is Red Shirt Day!
Take a selfie tomorrow to show us your red and post it to Facebook with the hashtags: #RedShirtDay, #RedForAccessAbility, #EasterSealsNL, #unstoppABLE, and don’t forget to tag @EasterSealsNL!
