The opposition is calling on Premier Tony Wakeham to keep the House of Assembly open “to ensure transparency (and) accountability.”
Opposition Leader John Hogan says with major decisions being made on health care, spending, Bay du Nord and the Churchill Falls MOU, Newfoundlanders and Labradorians deserve to get answers on government’s path forward.
Hogan calls this the first opportunity for the Official Opposition to ask questions specifically related to campaign promises made by the newly-elected government, and he calls on Premier Wakeham to commit to a “full and transparent fall sitting.”
