Construction begins in a couple of weeks on the replacement of the Quidi Vidi Slipway off Cadet Road.
The contractor will mobilize the site in preparation starting today. Parking spacers immediately adjacent to the slipway will be affected.
All boats stored at the facility have to be removed by Friday, January 2, the day construction actually begins.
The city of St. John’s says it will do everything possible to minimize interruptions.
Updates will be provided throughout the duration of the project.
