The province’s lowest-paid workers are getting a 35 cent raise on April 1.
That will bring the minimum wage to $16.35 an hour, and the minimum overtime wage will be $24.53.
The increase is based on changes to the national Consumer Price Index and is required under Labour Standards Regulations.
