Arrest Made Following Late-Night Assault in Mount Pearl

A man faces several serious charges after an incident in Mount Pearl in which a woman was assaulted.

The incident happened late last night at a residence on Glendale Avenue.

The 32-year-old has been charged with assault by choking and strangulation, and resisting arrest.

He spent the night at the lockup for a court appearance today.
