A 29-year-old has been charged following a break-in at the Pharmasave in St. George’s early Saturday morning.
RCMP say the suspect was found inside the pharmacy when they arrived.

Police say he refused to comply with commands to leave the business and the building was contained.

The suspect ran from the scene as officers were making their way inside. Police dog Pezz tracked Tyrone Lasaga down and he was taken to hospital for assessment and treatment.
He was remanded to custody pending a court appearance on charges of break and enter with intent, resisting an officer and failing to comply with a release order. Police say further charges are possible.
